The Meaning of a Contemporary Spring

An exhibition featuring artwork from Dong Shaoliang, Du Qingwei, Hong Yu, Xue Jinyong, Yang Xia, Yu Chiyang, Zhang Jiqin, and Zhang Shuli.

What spring means to individuals depends on many factors including culture, personal experience and personality. It is these factors, among others, that shape the original and unique contemporary paintings that artists create.

In this art exhibition we share a wide variety of spring-oriented contemporary artworks in one convenient place. While this is certainly not a comprehensive exhibition – as we have many other paintings that could be considered “spring paintings” – we have selected a few artworks that should pique your interest to either collect, share with others, or encourage you to search our website for additional creative contemporary spring art.

We hope you enjoy the exhibition!
