Artist's reflection: While red apparently encompasses this artwork, the two wine glasses and the newspaper and its content also provide areas of focus. Does the content have meaning? How do the filled wine glasses and newspaper relate? 
 
Wang's "Newspaper" series includes urban landscapes, modern figures, mineral water bottles, wine glasses, books and flowers. Through the use of newspapers, the artist recreates a relationship with different times, and strives to present concrete things in via the newspapers. The result brings the image and the content of the newspapers together. And through this process of colliding the different eras, we absorb an even deeper meaning from the art.
