Artist's reflection: Wang decided to use darker colors and an abstract style to best capture the landscape he saw. Yet, while the black, blue and gray dominate this contemporary artwork, the sudden and specific use of white and a little red breaks and lightens the image; and a flower emerges.
 
In this series titled "Untitled", Wang captures the essence of what contemporary landscape artwork is to him.
