Artist: Du Qingwei
 
Artist's reflection: Is what seems the obvious choice, actually reality? A lot of space and a rationing of color produce what the painter felt in the moment of creation. However, Du leaves the interpretation of what you see and feel up to you. 
 
After speaking with friends in the spring of 2018, Du Qingwei decided to create paintings of the 24 Solar Terms. Each Solar Term is completed on that day. However the content has no relevance to the Solar Term itself. It is based his feelings of the day. And within one lunar year all 24 will be completed.
