Artist: Du Qingwei
 
Artist's reflection: This contemporary piece is more like an abstract contemporary artwork than anything else. To make the image jump off the rice paper, he deploys shades of red and purple. 
 
After speaking with friends in the spring of 2018, Du Qingwei decided to create paintings of the 24 Solar Terms. Each Solar Term is completed on that day. However the content has no relevance to the Solar Term itself. It is based his feelings of the day. And within one lunar year all 24 will be completed.
