Artist: Du Qingwei
 
Artist's reflection: Du creates wavy thin brush strokes that seem purposeful and arbitrary at the same time. He also generously adds a touch of color, which contrasts with the clear outline of the image. 
 
After speaking with friends in the spring of 2018, Du Qingwei decided to create paintings of the 24 Solar Terms. Each Solar Term is completed on that day. However the content has no relevance to the Solar Term itself. It is based his feelings of the day. And within one lunar year all 24 will be completed.
