Artist's reflection: Many bottles are lined up and casting a shadow. What is the purpose of the bottles? Did the artist line them up? By giving the title "Queue" is the artist implying that the bottles represent something? And if so, what or who? 
 
The silence in Zhang’s paintings comes from the peacefulness of his soul. In his paintings, it is as though each color is painted on a limestone colored wall. The colors used are infiltrated by gray and white tones – thus losing their original strength, but softly and elegantly blending together.
