Artist: Wang Baisong
 
Artist's reflection: Wang uses an impressionist like style to develop is painting. While the colors are mostly cooler and present less flash, they still manage to clearly separate and jump from the canvas. 
 
Drawing on the expressiveness of Chinese freehand brushwork, the painter uses wide knife strokes and oil paint selection to create dotted lines and blocks. He leverages cold and warm colors to help create changes in hue, gradation and tone. At the same time he doesn't bother worrying about details when painting and adds a special place of focus in the artwork. From afar the art is imposing, and from near it's thrilling.
