Artist's reflection: Cooler and darker colors along with thick and wide brush strokes are used by Wang to create this contemporary abstract painting. 
 
Drawing on the expressiveness of Chinese freehand brushwork, the painter uses wide knife strokes and oil paint selection to create dotted lines and blocks. He leverages cold and warm colors to help create changes in hue, gradation and tone. At the same time he doesn't bother worrying about details when painting and adds a special place of focus in the artwork. From afar the art is imposing, and from near it's thrilling.
