Artist's reflection: Wang created what looks to be a portrait of a girl. He skillfully adds details in places such as the yellow dress, yet leaves them off of the face. The brush strokes are blended and smooth.
 
In his contemporary artwork, Wang combines traditional Chinese elements e.g. brush strokes, white space, boldness - with western oil painting techniques. His paintings are of a traditional Chinese style, but do not lose the basic expression of oil painting - thus presenting a different feeling. In Wang's "Lady" series of artwork, the denseness of brush strokes and the contrast of colors are everywhere. The paintings are full of poetic and abstract shapes and deeply reflect the emotions of women.
