Artist's reflection: This artwork and accompanying title are a bit more obvious than some of Zhang's other paintings. As with some of her other works, brush strokes combine "soft" 90 degree bends in the figures. While an apparent dark scene, the striking blond hair of the male stands out, but why?
Smooth, soft and colorful can aptly describe Zhang's style.
