Artist's reflection: Cold could aptly describe the feeling of this watercolor landscape artwork. Nevertheless, the proficient use of color produces a shimmering glass-like feel to the water and even movement of the water itself. 
 
Dong's contemporary watercolor paintings are mainly based on the natural scenery of the four seasons. Many of his works are created from his travels or daily life. His paintings are simple and generous, but pass on to the viewer unique feelings about the four seasons. It is as if through the paintings the viewer can feel the the comfort and calmness of close contact with nature.
