Artist: Zhou Jingjing
 
Artist's reflection: Through creativity and skillful selection of color, Zhou creates a different piece of contemporary artwork. The images are all unique and while this is a painting, it is constructed of 9 small individual paper boxes. 
 
By superimposing several layers of different colors on gray, Zhou creates richer shadows that result in a more three-dimensional painting. At the same time, the contrasting colors she uses give viewers of her paintings a sense of harmony and pleasure.
